Optical lines
By using own resources, COMEL is qualified to design, delivers equipment, install and maintain optical connecting paths on the ‘turn key’ basis.
With the application of the latest technologies, our specialists are able to install:
• Optical overhead lines
• Optical underground lines
• Installation of communications equipment
Optical overhead lines are realised by installing OPGW on transmission lines of nominal voltage from 35 kV to 400 kV.
As for the transmission lines of lower voltage level 0,4 kV to 20 kV, we are qualified to install ADSS cables on them.
Our professional staff also performs the works of laying buried optical cable.
We perform works related to surface and buried optical cables of all kinds and profiles, regardless of the number of optical fibres. We also install communication equipment in communications centres.
We perform the works of connecting optical fibres, measuring optical conductivity and issuing documents on the measurement results.
We have our own machinery, equipment and tools necessary for installing OPGW, ADSS and buried optical cables, as well as equipment for connecting optical fibres and equipment for testing and measurement of optical fibres conductivity.
